Wear a little of the color that captures your imagination. Pink Sails combines Blue Larimar, Rose Quartz and touches of yellow yarn and seed beads in an expressive necklace for someone who loves jewelry with a story.

Its colors were inspired by a painting that hangs in my room, created by my husband’s grandfather, Disney artist James Algar. I find myself returning to its pink sails and colorful sea. This necklace grew from those colors, a personal response to a painting I live with and love.

An oval-bead strand leads to a sculptural pendant, where a circular upper section meets a heart like shape below. Intricate beadwork brings the colors together, while dangling beads add movement. There is something new to notice up close, from the small color combinations to the texture of the woven details.
